Anikó Lehtinen is a beer expert, author and food journalist with Hungarian roots. Anikó writes and talks about beer for a living. She even cooks with beer and owns together with her husband a home brewery. She is currently writing her dissertation on the loosening of medium-strength beer regulations in Finland. 3. Iso Roobertinkatu pedestrian street
This street near the city centre is full of restaurants and boutiques. You can have a great time there enjoying coffees in the morning and food and drink in the evening.
The sandy local beach is a great place to swim and enjoy a picnic. The whole district on the southern peninsula is now full of great cafés and restaurants, including Birgita, Löyly and Hernesaarenranta – everything a person could wish for in summertime.
A great place for an outing. You can visit the open-air museum, enjoy the nature and squirrels, and swim on the sheltered beach. Remember to pack with your swimming gear if the sun is shining!
