Maria 0-1

It’s good to see the city growing and changing its form. As a hub for ambitious and scalable startups, Maria 0-1, or MariaZeroOne, is the center for events and players driving the growth. It provides a supportive community for high impact entrepreneurs, investors and the wider industry to help each other succeed.

The venue is likely to become the largest Nordic startup hub as and it already hosts many of the key players in Helsinki ecosystem, like ArcticStartup and Inventure. By the end of the year, Maria 0-1 will be home for 60 startups, and for selected investors and accelerators. Several investors have premises there too, including Superhero Capital, Reaktor Ventures and Butterfly Ventures.

The company running the venue is owned by the City of Helsinki, startup foundation Startup-säätiö and NewCo Helsinki.
