Helsinki Photo Festival 2020 offers for photo enthusiasts exhibitions of 58 international and Nordic photographers spread all over Helsinki.

The theme for the festival is Trust, a vital cornerstone for every society given the challenging times the world has been facing throughout 2020.

The main exhibition hub is set up on the outdoor premises of The National Museum. First-of-its-kind, modular shaped exhibition stands display curated images of the most popular works of the festival's open call winners on the walls surrounding the museum’s courtyard park (Museokatu and Töölönkatu).

In addition, the museum’s summer yard is featuring emerging Finnish and Nordic photographers in The Nordic Village, a kid’s corner with international artists and a solo exhibition by Swedish-American photographer Florence Montmare titled ‘Scenes from an Island’. The summer yard is open daily 6.00-21.00.

Other exhibitions can be enjoyed in parks, waterfronts, cultural centers and galleries around Helsinki.

All of Helsinki Photo Festival’s theory and pedagogy events are also to be held at the National Museum of Finland.
