The Scientific-Gastronomic Food Club is an open meeting for anyone interested in food.
The Scientific-Gastronomic Food Club is an open meeting for anyone interested in food. Club meetings focus on looking at food, cooking, and food enjoyment from both a scientific and gastronomic perspective.
The club is run by Anu Hopia, who works as research professor of food development at the University of Turku. Anu has written and lectured on cooking chemistry since the mid-1990s. The club has been organized since 2009 and each meeting has attracted between 6 and 60 food enthusiasts and professionals.
Wed 9.3. the theme is salt, the dates and themes for April and May will be announced later.
