Sonja Löfgren-Birch:

"I'm sitting by my worktable north of Stockholm in an old industrial premises. The place is waiting for demolition. I have placed my new works beside me and I'm summarising the past year in my mind. 

More than ever my themes have been coming out of the uncertainty of making and being. Time has been standing. No crouds, no distant traveling. I have focused near to find shapes and colours there. "

Suvi Mannonen:

"A sottovoce da Venezia (Whispers from Venice). Former lives, own mystical experiences and some strange wanderlust to Italy, especially to Venice, have been my motivation in this exhibition.

I use old book covers and process them with decoupage, craquele techniques, acrylic and oil paintings etc. Often I use also pictures, laces, espresso, coal and pastel."
