The Traditional Sailing Ship Day will be celebrated for the 34th time on Sunday October 10th, when Finland's large sailing ships will gather for an "open day" at the Market Square.
All of the 13 ships from all over the coastline are open to the public. The public can visit both the sailing ships themselves and their crews. On the ships and the pier there will be offered e.g. coffee and buns, salmon soup and archipelago music.
