Experience the Western Archipelago Route
FRS Finland Oy operates Helsinki’s newest route between Nokkalan majakka and Kalasatama from June to September. The Western Archipelago Route is the only water transport route that connects the archipelago destinations of Espoo and Helsinki. On the way you can enjoy the beautiful archipelago and stop in Lonna to eat or admire nature in Vallisaari. As the country was ranked as the world's 7th happiest nation, what better way to understand our culture than by exploring the stunning archipelago destinations of Espoo and Helsinki?
The Western Archipelago Route runs: Nokkalan majakka-Haukilahti-Lonna-Suomenlinna-Vallisaari-Kruuvuorenranta-Kalasatama. The total duration of the cruise is about 2 hours. During the trip you can get to know the islands of Espoo and Helsinki, where you can stop or alternatively enjoy the whole cruise from Nokkala to Kalasatama. Spend a nice day on boat and go on a one-way cruise from Espoo to Kalasatama and back by bike. The café serves snacks and drinks during the cruise. The ship has A-licenses.
Buy tickets in the online store to secure a place on the vessel. Note! Limited places on board. Tickets can also be bought on the vessel, but we will take those who bought a ticket from the online store on board first. There are only 4 bike spaces per departure and you always have to buy a ticket for the bike in advance. There is 1 wheelchair space and there is no handicapped toilet on board. Baby strollers can be folded on the ship without extra charge.
