Historic Old Town of Porvoo

Meet your guide and driver for your tour. Leaving the city, you will follow the coastal road to Porvoo – the second oldest town in Finland, dating back to 1346.

This old town is situated at the mouth of the River Porvoo. It was an important trading center as early as the Middle ages. You will walk the cobbled streets of this old wooden town and learn about the history of the town. In Porvoo you will also enjoy free time to walk around on your own and to perhaps visit the different small handicraft shops. After a delightful time browsing around you will stop at a local coffee roastery Porvoon Paahtimo for cup of coffee and to taste a local sweet specialty pastry, the "Runebergs Tårta". The coffee is always roasted in small portions to enhance the unique character of the different coffee beans, and you can even buy the beans to go.

Continue your way back to Helsinki and enjoy a nice panoramic drive before returning.
