Akademiska Sångföreningen: Över Havet

In the concert Över Havet (Over the Sea) by Akademen, works from both Finnish and North American composers are brought together.

In April, the choir will tour the west coast of the United States and Canada. They want to introduce the Finnish audience to contemporary composers of the destination, such as Timothy C. Takach, Christine Donkin, and Marie-Claire Saindon.

Before the concert, the audience has the opportunity to meet the choir's conductor, Elisa Huovinen, who will be interviewed about the concert's theme and content.
