An animal-themed day trip

An animal-themed day trip to the Viikki and Saunalahti nature reserves. During the trip, we’ll walk through the nature reserve, learn about how the animals in the forest hibernate, and explore nature. The programme also includes things like cooking food on a camping stove and, snow conditions permitting, snowshoe trekking. Aida and July, our friendly and seasoned hiking dogs, will accompany us on the trip. The trip is free of charge and aimed at young people aged 12–18. The trip will take place on Tuesday, 20 February. 
We will start our trip by meeting at the Herttoniemi metro station at noon, and we will also return there at 16:30 at the latest. You’ll need warm, weatherproof outdoor clothing, good hiking shoes and your own water bottle. You can pack your own lunch, but the youth workers will also provide food for everyone on the trip.
