Brages Spelmanslag med Brages Folkdansare – Evening music in August

Bragen Spelmanslag and the folk dancers of the Finnish-Swedish folk culture association Föreningen Bragen return to Vuotori!

Brage’s veteran violin ensemble has started performing again after a few years of absence. Brage Spelmanslag’s artistic director is Lotta Ahlbeck.

Brages Folkdanslag consists of dancers of varying ages. The dance group typically performs a wide range of minuets, polskas, hambos and singing games.

Master folk dancer Eivor Wallinvirta has developed repertoires from simple consecutive dance routines into full programmes in which the song, dance and music depict life events, such as celebrations.
