Three generations of conductors with a German background established themselves in the Stockholm court for decades. The Düben Manuscript Collection, stored at Uppsala University, illustrates the family’s musical activities from early German Baroque to Parisian-style ballet.
The concert will feature vocal and instrumental works by Gustav Düben, the Baltic Germans Valentin Meder and David Pohle, as well as excerpts from Anders von Düben's Narvabaletten.
