The site-specific solo performance “This world that we imagine in this room, might be used to gain access to other rooms, other worlds, previously unimaginable” choreographed by artist Emmi Venna engages with the rooms of the Kirpilä Art Collection through dance, speech and hallucinatory animation. It is a chapter, an excerpt, or a selection, if you will, from an ongoing body of work by Venna in which the artist assorts various situations, gestures, notebook entries and visuals into an associative mindscape.
The title of the work is a quote from film director Lana Wachowski.
