A rare visit to Helsinki by EU Cultural Ambassadors the European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO). With its trademark energy and virtuosity that has been astounding audiences worldwide for almost half a century, the EUYO is one of the world’s pre-eminent symphony orchestras.

The EUYO is visiting Finland for the first time since 2004, in a four day residency bringing the highest quality music performance and the latest innovative community music education approaches from across Europe, including working with Finnish music, Finnish partners and young and established Finnish musicians.

The residency culminates in a concert with Hungarian maestro Iván Fischer and Finnish violinist Kreeta-Julia Heikkilä.
