Hilja Grönfors & Latšo Džinta

Hilja Grönfors, who was named as a master folk singer at the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival in 2005, has been singing since she was a child.

For several years now, she has collected familiar and previously unknown traditional Roma songs all over Finland. She has accumulated well over a hundred songs. Hilja Grönfors performs these musical treasures with her band Latšo Džinta.
