Hyvät, pahat ja levät - The Good, The Bad and The Algae – Celebrating and exploring the Baltic Sea!

Do you know what algae are? Did you know that they can be beautiful?

Come along and meet Vuosaari’s diverse algae. You will get to look at living algae collected from Aurinkolahti, and Helsinki University marine biologist Sonja Repetti is there to answer all your questions. You can also make your own algae out of clay.

The activity is open to participants on Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00.
Free entry.
Suitable to all (school-age and above)
Language: Finnish and English
(algae do not pose any health threat)
