Impressionism 150 Years, Lecture

While Ateneum is currently organizing an art exhibition about the Impressionists, the French Institute in Finland and the Federation of Finland-France Associations invite you to a lecture event about the great names of this still touching art form. 

The first Impressionist art exhibition "Affamés d'indépendance" was organized in Paris on April 15, 1874. 

In honour of the 150th anniversary, the lecture tells about impressionism as an art form and how different impressionist artists have worked together in the years 1870-1890, and how this collaboration made artists to find their style.
