Klassinen Hietsu: Trio Est

A piano trio of young stars performs Schubert, Boulanger, and Ravel!

Trio Est was born in summer 2019 for the first Toivakka Chamber Music Festival, and due to seamless cooperation, the work continued also after the festival. The members of the trio are united by the beginning of the musical journey at the East Helsinki Music Institute, from which their path led to Sibelius Academy and on to the world. In 2020, the band was awarded third place in the international Ilmari Hannikainen Piano Chamber Music Competition.

The extensive repertoire of Trio Est ranges from the earliest chamber music works to the latest contemporary music.
