Laineen Kasperi is known as a rapper, poet, producer and alchemist of sound worlds. He is e.g. founder of Kaucas group, Ähky Records, WindowFactory and Palava Kaupunki bands. During his 20-year career, Kasperi has collaborated with numerous leading artists and, characteristic of the hip-hop tradition, has also worked with the younger generation. 

Laineen Kasperi has been awarded e.g. Suomi Award, Band of the Year recognition at the Funky Awards, the Jussi Award (for the short film Two Bodies on the Beach).
