Maija Albrecht - Graphics and Pirkko Nukari - Sculptures

Starting point for Maija Albrecht's (s. 1967) work is nature. Comfortnes of the cycle of life and it's mysterious continuity are the basis of her art. In Albrechts works the Human-Nature Relationship is central and in the same time enigmatic. 

Pirkko Nukari (s. 1943) has elevated the classic bronze sculpting to a new dimensions, in relation both to form language and patina. There is always something more in her sculptures; artists view which takes the seemingly small and simple subject to much more broader connections.
