Matriarkaatti Open Mic X Tiivistämö
In February 2023, Matriarkaatti brings an open mic event to Tiivistämö, offering a safe stage for beginner artists – especially girls and LGBTQ youth.
The anti-racist and feminist Matriarkaatti project works for a more equal music field. Matriarkaatti involves rap music, podcast content, lectures, clubs, open mic events and interesting social media content. The event is hosted by the Matriarkaatti rap duo Mon-Sala and Adikia, i.e. DJ paha.narttu, who also plays the beats for the open mic participants. The evening ends with the energetic Slyrre S, FORRESTER and Aina with their joint hip hop show.
