Therefore, the V. A. Koskenniemi Society organizes a memorial concert where soprano Miia Saari and pianist Ilona Kurvinen interpret songs to Koskenniemi's poems by composers such as Heino Kaski, Yrjö Kilpinen, Toivo Kuula, Erkki Melartin, Aarre Merikanto and Väinö Raitio.
