Musta Lammas: Vapaa Pudotus
Vapaa pudotus (Finnish for “free fall”) is an improvised concert, exploring what happens when Musta lammas walks the tightrope of creating music on the spot.

Sheet music has been tossed aside and the core repertoire laid to rest, as the music and lyrics for this concert will be written on the go by the singers and the audience. The choir's improvisation is guided by a signal-based language called vocal painting, which was created by Jim Daus Hjernøe (Denmark).
Since its founding in 2016, Musta lammas (“black sheep”) has worked towards strengthening the foundation of popular music in the Finnish choir scene. The choir’s core repertoire consists of custom-made arrangements and original songs. Improvisation is an important part of the ensemble’s expression, both as part of the rehearsal process and for interacting with the audience. This is the choir's first fully improvised concert.
