New Music for Flute and Cello

The concert is introducing new music from Tytti Arola, Teemu Mastovaara, Kaija Saariaho, Anna Thorvaldsdottir and Kimmo Laaksonen.

The works include northern mysticism and breathing textures, but also playfulness and humor. The programme is simultaneously deep, but not too serious. Along with acoustic instrumental music some of the pieces include live electronics and/or performative elements.
