Ala-Malmin tori 1, 00700 Helsinki
Malmitalo

'I paint limbos and fever dreams where unknown organisms are endlessly forming and dissolving without ever reaching their final form. Recognizable patterns, removed from their context, transformed to otherworldly, yet familiar landscapes.'

'They are something between organic and non organic, abstract and figurative. I enjoy ambiguity and poking at the subconscious, painting for me is about asking strange questions and receiving odd answers. The exhibition consists of acrylic and oil paintings from a period of last two years.'

Samuel Lehikoinen is a visual artist and painter from Jyväskylä Finland. Graduated as a bachelor of art in 2016 and is currently studying for a masters degree of contemporary art in Estonian Academy of Arts.
