Legendary singer-songwriter Sharon Corr will perform in Helsinki in September! Finnish audiences will get to enjoy a rare concert at Savoy Theatre on Thursday 28 September.

The Irish band Corrs has sold a total of more than 45 million records globally. Blending Celtic melodies with rock and pop, the band enchanted audiences particularly thanks to the charismatic voice of its lead vocalist Sharon Corr.

Established in 1990, The Corrs still tirelessly tour the world performing shows. At the same time, Sharon Corr has focused on her solo career, having released her debut album Dream of You in 2010. Overall, Sharon Corr already has three successful solo albums under her belt, the latest of which is The Fool & The Scorpion from 2021.

“I always light up on stage and, in a way, become a new person. I love performing, and concerts are a way for me to express myself and be exactly who I am,” Sharon Corr says.

In 2005, Queen Elizabeth II appointed Sharon Corr and her sisters as Members of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for their merits in music and charity work.

In addition to her own songs, Sharon Corr plays well-known Corrs hits in her shows.
