VILDÀ’s performance as Sointi Jazz Orchestra’s soloists has been unfortunately cancelled. Sointi Jazz Orchestra will perform at Etno-Espa’s Night of the Arts with other guesting soloists.

Sointi Jazz Orchestra will celebrate its 10 years anniversary at the Night of the Arts, and will bring to Espa stage a selection of guesting soloists. In the concert we will hear parts of Timo Alakotila’s composition Sinfonia Concertante, which was premiered 20 years ago. Together with Sointi Jazz Orchestra the piece will be played by accordionist Kaisa Ristiluoma. In addition, the concert will be featured by energetic jazz and soul singer Maja Mannila, who will perform her compositions accompanied by a big jazz orchestra.

Etno-Espa is an annual city festival that focuses on modern folk music. The festival presents what Finnish folk music and folk music made in Finland can be today. The festival takes place in Helsinki, on Espa outdoor stage from 7th to 17th of August 2023.
