Teater Mars: Vinterkvällar

Perämiehenkatu 13, 00150 Helsinki

A group of librarians get together to plan a presentation of forgotten literary works.

A group of librarians get together to plan a presentation of forgotten literary works. But which texts no longer have anything to say to the present time? Which themes are still relevant? Which values are valid?

In Vinterkvällar, the small reading circle searches for sustainable values in tradition. Or is it content in their own lives they are looking for? Something to believe in? Hope? The fictional stories mix with the private lives and relationships of the librarians, the state of the world and the hope for change.

Vinterkvällar is a performance that focuses on storytelling and uses simple means to portray issues in time or beyond.
