Tom Lumen

Tom Lumen will perform a fingerstyle guitar concert in November at Liszt Institute.

Internationally known Tom Lumen has performed in 15 different countries and on three continents, from the United States to China. Now he is visiting Finland for the fourth time. 

His experiential performances are characterized by virtuoso playing and good humor. Lumen's versatile music is fueled by elements from blues, jazz, rock and Hungarian folk music, and between songs he also shares his personal stories related to them with the audience. 

In the fingerstyle he represents, it is interesting how the artist keys different areas of sound with different fingers at the same time, so that the melody, bass and chords play on the instrument at the same time but independently of each other.
