Laila Pullinen Sculpture Park & Home Museum
Laila Pullinen – sculpture park & home museum is a museum complex located in Vantaa, which is based on the life work of sculptor Laila Pullinen at Nissbacka Manor.
The museum complex mainly owned by the Laila Pullinen Foundation is focusing on sculpture, cultural history and nature conservation consisting of several parts: sculpture park, home museum and historical buildings.
The main collection is located in Makasiini Building, and annually changing exhibitions are on display during the summer season in Atelier Gallery.
The key elements in the art of sculptor, professor Laila Pullinen (1933–2015) were antiquity and informalism, history and the fragility of the moment, the laws of nature and man in the crossing of all of these.
By combining these for 30 years in an old manor milieu, she created a total work of art where art is one with nature.
The museum is open during the summer season and there are also a cafe and a museum shop. Current information on opening hours and visiting the place can be found on the museum's website.
