Tove Jansson

The HAM gallery, opened in January 2016, will showcase the work and life of Tove Jansson (1914-2001). The focus of the new hanging is on Jansson's monumental works. Her two large frescos Party in the City and Party in the Country are accompanied by wall paintings made by Jansson for the Strömberg factory in Pitäjänmäki, as well as lamps designed by Paavo Tynell from the original location of the frescos in the Kaupunkikellari restaurant in Helsinki.
