The Finnish association promoting traditional jazz music, Suomen PerinneJazz ry, will celebrate the centenary of Finland’s independence in a concert tracing the development of Finnish traditional jazz over the last century. The programme includes familiar and rarely heard music from the nation’s leading composers of popular music, including Toivo Kärki, George De Godzinsky and Erik Lindström.
