SOLD OUT Ahaa Theatre: Molli ja ystävyyden talo (Molli and the House of Friendship) – Hurraa! Theatre Weeks

Mar 22, 2025 | 2:00 pm

Klaneettitie 5, 00420 Helsinki

Molli has lived in her house for a long time. Alone and without any friends. Molli hasn’t really needed friends, but now the time is passing slowly and the house has become boring.

Nothing seems interesting – not watering the cactus, not straightening the fringes of the rug, not winding up the yarn roll… until there’s a knock at the door!

Molli and the House of Friendship is about what it feels like to surprise yourself and brave the unknown, even if a moment ago it felt like the scariest thing. It’s about finding joy and overcoming yourself. It’s a story about what it feels like to have someone who cares and the power of friendship.

Molli and Sisu are an unusual pair: one is a slow thinker, the other a carefree spirit. Together, they learn the ABCs of friendship and embark on a little adventure with big results. You can even argue with a friend, then hug, make up, and eat pancakes. Because it’s the best!

The play is based on Katri Kirkkopelto’s popular Molli children’s books.
