The worlds first feature film that centers around synth music and new romantics, set in the 1980:s in rural Sweden.

The film is about a boy (Fredrik) and a girl (Nina), both aged 18. They live in a small village in rural Sweden (Smedstorp, Skåne, inhabitants 363).

The year is 1984 and they are both new romantics, heavily into synth music and Fredrik is the singer in the local synth band. The film takes place from Friday to Sunday. Fredriks synth band will play their debut gig in the village on Saturday evening, but things happen that will completely turn Fredriks life upside down.
