Ei numeroa is a group exhibition that considers luck from a range of artistic perspectives. 

Spanning multiple geographies and cultural positions, the artworks touch on the operations of chance, unpredictability, agency and control within the setting of the collection of the Museum of Technology in Helsinki.

The Museum holds a collection of objects labelled as “EINOs”.  These objects have an indeterminate status which stems from their unknown origin or purpose, separating them from the rest of the museum’s holdings. This uncertainty however, becomes their most interesting characteristic, shifting their focus from what they are to what they could be. 

Unlike their more wholly documented counterparts in the collection, the EINOs offer speculation and possibility, forming the starting point for a group exhibition addressing chance, luck and serendipity.
