Maria Männikkö, a pianist specialising in Spanish music, takes listeners to the poetically romantic worlds of Granados and Chopin.

Among other things, the concert will feature Chopin’s Ballade no. 1 and Granados’ Escenas Románticas.

Maria Männikkö loves the worlds of possibilities. For her, playing music is a sort of creation of the world, where the narrative is used both as an internal tool of the mind and for building an external aesthetic. Maria graduated as a Doctor of Music from the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts in 2018.
