Helsinki Balalaika Orchestra is the world’s second oldest orchestra playing the Russian folk instruments, founded back in 1910.
The orchestra’s repertoire features songs from different countries, bringing Roma songs, Ukrainian compositions and maybe even Latin rhythms to the Espa Stage.
The orchestra’s conductor is Gennadi Klykov and the soloist is Heli Jormanainen.
