Lempeä Open Stage

Lempeä open stage will be oozing queernes on the Helsinki Pride week! The event offers a great chance to kick off Pride week by celebrating queer art. 

During the evening at KokoTeatteri, you’ll enjoy amazing warm-up performances by Ranja Omena and MC Harakka, as well as numerous talented performers taking up the open stage.

In this event you can come to the open stage to let out whatever you need, or simply enjoy the performances from the audience. 

Although the event has a theme, you are welcome to perform whatever you like. The goal is especially to create space for queer people to share. 

All performers are welcomed with open arms, but the participants are encouraged to reflect on their own relationship to queerness and to consider how and when to take and give space. 

KokoTeatteri’s bar will be open throughout the event. The event is also sponsored by restaurant Loosister, where the afterparty will take place starting at 21.00 after the open stage ends. Event participants can enjoy drinks at happy hour prices at the afterparty.
