On International women’s day, Saturday the 8th of March, Cecilia Damströms piano quintets Minna, Aino and Helene will be performed for the first time all in one concert called “Historical female portraits in tones”. These works depict three significant women in Finnish history through music: Aino Sibelius, Minna Canth and Helene Schjerfbeck.

The concert is part of the 4th Helsinki Composer Festival, organized by Uuden Ajan Ensemble, with Cecilia damström as the theme composer.
