Tytti Metsä ja Hyypiöt
The sound of the Tytti Metsä ja Hyypiöt trio combines the rasp of the jouhikko bowed lyre and the melodious singing of Metsä with the hypnotic rhythms of double bass played by Paatelainen and the percussions played by Haavisto. Traditional folk music merges with the swinging americana.
Tytti Metsä – vocals, jouhikko bowed lyre and accordion
Miikka Paatelainen – double bass and steel guitar
Janne Haavisto / Mamba Assefa – percussions
