Sergio Bastos is known for his emotional and energetic way of singing, bringing a special and colorful details to the songs.

Sergio Bastos is a singer, songwriter and guitar player from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He started his career in Rio de Janeiro during the 80´s playing with many popular Brazilian artists, including the mythical legendary Brazilian rock band Mutantes virtuoso guitar player Sergio Dias Baptista and Bossa Nova Diva Bebel Gilberto, among many others. He has also worked to the local BMG record company as one of their house songwriter.

In 2001 Sergio moved to Europe to continue his project with the Finnish joyful music band Caipirinha and also has joined forces with different local Jazz and Pop artists, mainly in Finland and Belgium. In 2002 he started a collaboration with the acquainted Estonian Jazz saxophonist Raivo Tafenau. With this project they did two cds, “Ice on Ipanema” and “ Contrasting Colors” that received very positive reviews from many European publications. The band played in many festivals and theaters all over Europe, Canada and had unforgettable and positive receptions in many other different countries.

The discussions take into consideration both the part of the musician and the business side, focusing on diversity in a neutral, safe space.
