Nemat Battah presents a set of original compositions from her solo work, drawing inspiration from her trio Wishamalii. Using a looper and live electronics, Battah creates an intimate soundscape where tradition meets innovation. Her music intertwines Arabic maqam aesthetics with the freedom of jazz improvisation, resulting in a deeply expressive and contemporary sound.
