LEKSY, or the inspirers of living culture in Laajasalo, takes its vision beyond Laajasalo for the first time, as Stoa is Itäkeskus hosts the Leksy X Stoa event.

LEKSY was established in 2022 to boost the provision of alternative music events in the Laajasalo area. The purpose was to enrich the cultural life on the island by showcasing makers and artists from all walks of life and styles and organising home-grown events where everyone is welcome.

Following the first Leksyfest, the monthly Leksy club in the old and atmospheric Ylistalo has become a local staple. The club has prided itself on overstepping genre boundaries by providing a diverse collection of music. Following the same principle, the one-day Leksyfest event has been organised for three summers in Villa Wuorio at the seaside.

This summer, Leksyfest will be held at Stoa!
