Niina Mantsinen and Jani Hietanen’s work with highly traditional themes and materials combines contemporary technological tools with natural elements. 

The exhibition offers a fascinating, mutually enriching platform for shared exploration and artistic creation.

When combined with contemporary new media techniques, the stable textile works acquire a new, dynamic, and immaterial character that challenges viewers to see and experience both textile art and media art from a fresh vantage point.

The new works continue the themes explored in the artists’ first joint project: dialogues between traditional textile techniques and modern technology, forest and urban environments, stillness and constant transformation.
