The exhibition brings together four new works—two audiovisual pieces, a drawing series, and a collection of texts.

Trial Without Error is based on the premise that people live in a world that is in large parts, and increasingly, organised around safety and security.

In the exhibition, artist duo Nana & Felix explore the environments emerging from this logic—transparent, brightly lit, and nearly identical from Seoul to Helsinki—where nature and humanness alike are increasingly reframed as unreliable entities carrying potential risks.

The installation is transforming MUU Helsinki Contemporary Art Centre into a slowly shifting environment, where people travel slowly from one carefully planned space to another. 

Through a landscape where uniform fluorescent lights illuminate an apparently endless tunnel whose echoes lead towards a perfectly safe and controlled existence.

Trial Without Error explores how an uncontested strive for absolute safety, highlighted by the desperate try of surveilling even the remotest corners of surroundings is reshaping the perception of, and behaviour towards, both the natural and human environment.
