Baritone Olli Tuovinen, known from the opera and music theater stages, returns to his musical roots as a singer-guitarist with a new, unheard of repertoire.

‘One night – Volvio una noche’ is a collection of wonderful translations of Argentinian tango classics.

Tuovinen’s interpretations range from small and intimate all the way to harsh declarations, e.g. From the masterpieces of Gardel, Dames, Demare and Troilo. In his guitar playing, Tuovinen has also included tones typical of flamenco music, which brings a new color to the classics. The translations of the original stories bring the Finnish listeners deeper into the authentic drama of tango.
