Pirjo Honkasalo (e.g. Concrete Night, The 3 Rooms of Melancholia), one of Finland’s internationally most celebrated directors, is making a breathtaking return with her newest movie Orenda.

Two strong-willed women (Alma Pöysti and Pirkko Saisio) meet in a magical archipelago landscape. Both are struggling with the guilt of a man whose memory binds them together. What is it that the restless opera singer and the extreme priest are looking for from each other?
