Oscar Eriksson Furunes (Norway , 1991, lives in Stjørdal and Malmö) transforms found and collected objects into poignant stories.

The installation night watch (2023), prized at Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo in 2024, features owl-shaped perfume lamps of the kind used in gay bars in the Netherlands until the 1960s. Turning them on warned the close-knit community that strangers or the police were entering their space.
 

This is the third in a series of exhibitions in the studio gallery with emergent artists from the whole Nordic region.
