Paria Mohajerani – Blurring the Boundaries: Stories on a Revolution 

The work is based on the artist’s personal story, recalling her participation in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” revolution in Iran in 2022.

Fragments of a true story will unfold through a journey you are invited to undertake in Paria Mohajerani’s Blurring the Boundaries: Stories on a Revolution,  a performance-installation. 

The fragments are part of a personal account by the artist who is trying to remember the participation in the “Woman, Life, Freedom” revolution in 2022 in Iran. 

What if you could recreate the past? 

The performance explores what it means to be an activist and how to participate as an individual inside a collective. 

Where do the boundaries between a collective act and individual personal decisions begin to blur? 

The performance is fictioning and alternating realities through the question “what if…”
