Pauanne is known for their innovative way of blending the roots of folk music with modern soundscapes. Inspired by old archival recordings, their compositions bring Finnish tradition to life with a strong, even mystical touch. Pauanne’s music is at once delicate and powerful, traditional and creatively new.

The duo of Kukka Lehto and Tero Pennanen is enhanced by vocals from Karoliina Kantelinen, known from Värttinä, and percussive sounds by Mamba Assefa.

Päivi Hirvonen and their ensemble bring to the stage an intense and distinctive fusion of sound and instrumentation, where the violin, jouhikko, and vocals intertwine seamlessly. Hirvonen’s music conveys deep emotion and captivates the listener with strong melodies and an impressive performance. Joining Päivi Hirvonen on stage are Tero Pajunen and Mirva Ormin.
